When do I need a camping ticket?

Each person who wants to access the camping area needs their own camping ticket – including those sharing a caravan.
A camping area access is only granted with a camping ticket.

How can I charge my phone at the festival?

Charging points are located at the sanitation area.

How does waste disposal work at the festival?

Accepted Answer

Each person with a camping ticket will receive a garbage bag at the entrance.
Additional garbage bags and a donation drop-off for unwanted camping gear are available at the info stand.

Please keep your camping area clean.
Donate leftover tents and sleeping bags – don’t just leave them behind.

How does the caravan ticket work?

One caravan ticket per vehicle. Includes one parking space in the caravan area.

This ticket is valid only for the caravan vehicle and serves as the camping ticket for the driver.
⚠️ All additional passengers staying in the caravan must purchase their own Camping Ticket.

The Medical Point will be clearly marked on the festival site map and staffed throughout the event.

If you or someone around you needs medical assistance, please contact our nearest medical team, security staff or awareness team immediately. They are there to help—don't hesitate to reach out, even if you're unsure whether it's an emergency.

Please remember:
Stay hydrated and eat regularly.
Take breaks and know your limits.
Look out for your friends and ask for help if someone doesn't seem okay.

Due to dry conditions, please be aware of the increased wildfire risk and avoid any open flames outside designated areas.

How does the reusable cup system work?

Accepted Answer

At OUTBACK Festival, we use reusable cups to reduce waste. When you buy a drink, you pay a €2 deposit (Pfand) for the cup. You can reuse the cup throughout the festival. When you're done, simply return it to one of the cup return stations and you'll get your €2 deposit back.

How do I get to and from the festival?

By Car
The festival site is located at Schöllingstraße 7, 7203 Wiesen, Austria.
From Vienna, take the A3 motorway and exit at Mattersburg/Wiesen. Free parking is available directly at the festival site.

By Public Transport
The nearest stop is Wiesen-Sigleß.
Please note that due to ongoing construction works, train services to Wiesen are currently replaced by rail replacement buses.
From Vienna, travel to Wiener Neustadt and continue to Wiesen-Sigleß by replacement bus or regional bus (Lines 7941, SV524, 5A and 5B).
The festival site is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

We recommend bringing some cash.
